Dr. Spencer attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he not only received his dental degree, but completed a two-year general practice residency as well. Dr. Spencer is a Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology/ Implant Dentistry (of which there are less than 400 in the country).

Dr. Spencer has been in practice for 24 years and is experienced in peforming various types of sedation including nitrous oxide, oral sedation, and IV sedation. He has been doing implant and reconstructive dentistry for over 20 years. He also does hospital dentistry at Catawba Valley Medical Center, where he has been on staff for 22 years.
